Robert Meader, son of John S. Meader (1844-1915) [0339] and Rachel Manley (  –  ), was born either in 1870 or 1872 [both dates are given in Herrington], probably in the Plattsburgh, NY area. He owned and operated a hotel in Dannemora, probably the one that his father had owned before him. He married Cora Stiles, who was the daughter of Mary Tappin's sister and was brought up by Mary Tappin and her husband Amos Meader [0336].
